Jiangsu Akcome Science and Technology Co., Ltd. was founded in 2006. It was listed on Shenzhen Stock Exchange (stock code 002610) in 2011 and is a Chinese new energy enterprise, headquartered in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province.

In January 2024, it was announced that Akcome will be investing $140 million in a new HJT-perovskite tandem solar cell facility. The initiative will be led by Akcome’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Zhejiang Akcome Future Technology Co., Ltd., in collaboration with the Hangzhou Qianjiang Economic Development Zone Management Committee.
