Flexell Space is South Korea's Hanwha Systems' in-house venture.
It aims to develop solar cells for space, with high efficiency, low cost, extreme durability and more. It seems that it's products are CIGS/Perovskite tandem cells. Its key technology, according to the Company's website, is based on radiation resistance and self-curing capabilities to maintain performance until End-of-Life.
In August 2024, Flexell Space signed a letter of intent (LOI) with Germany's Airbus Defense and Space to develop next-generation space solar cell modules.
